The YMCA of Pawtucket is a non-profit membership organization that welcomes people of all ages, races, ethnicities, religions, abilities and financial circumstances. YMCA personnel embrace diversity and strive to ensure that all YMCA branches reflect the needs and composition of the communities they serve.
For one low monthly fee, YMCA members have unlimited use of facilities and pay reduced fees on specialty classes and programs. Satisfaction is guaranteed and there are no contracts to sign. Membership rates include a one-time joining fee and annual dues that can be paid all at once upon joining or through a monthly bank draft from an authorized checking or savings account.
Individuals and families interested in joining the YMCA of Pawtucket can tour one of five branches, where a staff member or trained volunteer will answer questions about memberships and fitness goals. Also, day passes can be purchased by consumers that want to use a YMCA facility before deciding whether to join, and the cost of up to three passes can be credited toward membership fees as long as the related receipts are presented. Additional information can be obtained by calling a branch or talking to a representative at the member services desk located in the entryway of each facility.
Financial assistance is available thanks to the YMCA’s "Support-A-Child" annual fundraising campaign. Families that show they have a need can receive scholarships in order for their children to obtain memberships and to enroll in special programs and camps.
